Default bugs or WAD: ships & celtiberains

Two things I've noticed in my Lusotannan game (using BI.exe).
    1. The script that generates a Celtiberian stack to appear when you attack them fires more than once. Is that deliberate? It maybe that a new load causes it to reset as I only noticed the second stack when I came back to the game next day.

    2. The AI hardly build any ships. Again is this WAD? For a period of major naval activity in the MEd this seems strange. And it cripples the Karthadast. the only people with fleets, rather than individual ships, are pirates.

EB is designed to be run on RTW 1.5 - although it will run with the BI.exe, we don't currently support it.

That said - I can't answer 1, but for 2 the ship issue involves hardcoded AI. It is very hard to get factions to do things with navies. It seems to be hit or miss per game. I've had Carthaginian-as-AI games where they locked down the Med with their fleets and others where they lost them within the first few turns and never built up. It seems to depend upon the campaign.

I am playing on 1.5RTW and I have now fought 5 celtiberian armies lead by Moskon (with a greek picture). Seems to be a bug?

Yeah, I just ran into Moskon on my Romani campaign. His army uses large scale units as compared to the normal scale for which the campaign is set. After defeating him in an incredibly hard fought battle, his entire super-sized stack respawned and proceeded to obliterate the remnant of my legion. If this guy keeps on respawning, how can I defeat him? Will forcing an autocalc win or bribery work?

It seems to be a secret plot by our Iberian experts to prevent anybody from taking Iberia

how often do this guy reemerges? every turn? every 10 turns?

And as ship coordinator i have to say that we can't influence what ships AI builds It's exactly like blacksnail says - sometimes they build up and sometimes not.

For me it seemed almost instantaneous. He attacked on the rebel turn, was defeated, and then was immediately back up to full strength and attacked again on the same turn. However, his units did retain the losses they incurred during the second battle.

He's not supposed to be invincible, but you do realize that it took Rome over a hundred years to conquer Iberia, yes? So allowing you to do it in a few seasons wouldn't really be sporting now, would it?

Kidding aside, it's possible that what happened was not a same/next-turn respawn so much as the result of several spawns. For example, if the Lusitanians or Carthaginians tried to conquer Celtiberia, that might have generated a few Moskon-led armies. So when you wandered into the bear trap, there were a few of them waiting for you.

Moskon and his clone army are appearing every second turn on my Aedui campaign, despite the notable handicap of being dead. His army isn't too tough to deal with, but it does get repetitive rather quickly. One of my better generals started to pick up cowardly traits after winning back to back heroic victories against him. Not sure if it is a bug or not.
