A good game..

im getting quite bored with M2... anybody know a good MP FPS game? i was really considering Call of Duty 2 if its good. or a really good action game or a VERY good RTS game.

COD2 is okay for MP if you find a good modded server with ample amount of people, or at least ones that are skilled and fun to play with. The many servers and their mods make for many interesting playing experiences. The best mods are the realism, since you can actually kill someone with a shot to the chest. After a while it can get booooorrrrrringggggg. Try BF2 if you're up to it. It has some good mods coming out plus good expansion pack(s) not sure about the new one tho.

As for RTS try CoH or the new Dawn of War: Black Dark(whatever it is) Crusade. I think it is stand-alone so you don't have to buy DoW just to get it. Battlestations Midway just released its' demo along with Supreme Commander. You also might wanna try MadMinute Games, Inc.'s Take Command 2nd Manassas, it is supposedly the best American Civil War game out there.

Multiplayer FPS has to be Battlefield 2. Or maybe Battlefield 2. Although I might make an exception and go for Battlefield 2.

PS: Battlefield 2 is the only multiplayer FPS I've ever played, so my opinion might be a little skewed.

i also thought of Battlefield 2 but the GS review (which is good) is intimidating for me.

America's Army is free, though it requires a bit of a learning curve and a very steady mouse hand.

MOH:AA is old. Really old. But it is insanely addictive, and you should be able to pick it up in bargain bins.

Other then that, there's the Battlefront and Battlefield games, and Wolfenstein.

F.E.A.R. Combat: the free version downloadable for MP purposes. They basically took the MP part from the full SP/MP game.

Besides that one and the other ones mentioned here, I'd have to second CoH, simply because the setting alone makes a person immerse into it. It's one of the best RTS games I've ever had my hands on.
