    Default Getting rid of Inquisitors?

    I've finally had it with them, so is there a reasonably simple way of removing them? Otherwise I'll just up their cost to 12000 Florins or something to prevent the AI from ever constructing them again. They're unrealistic and annoying, and I don't really use them anyway (though you can actually use them as an exploit).
    Just thought I should ask before I go do something stupid that might mess up my game.

    Easiest way would be to open the Unit_Prod file(s) and find their entry in GnomeEditor. Go to Column 17 and delete the building requirement, it should be {MONASTERY}.

    That way no one can construct them as no building trains them.

    I agree with Innocentius. I've been thinking of removing them from the Pocket Mod, and also lowering the religious faith propogation values for Bishops and Cardinals as well as other religious agents. The catholic AI factions spam bishops though, unlike the muslims and orthodox, so it may have to be adjusted.

    At present the zeal effect of inquisitors is as follows:

    I: "PAGAN(0), CATHOLIC(2), ORTHODOX(0), ISLAMIC(0), JEWISH(0), HERETIC(0)"

    GI: "PAGAN(0), CATHOLIC(5), ORTHODOX(0), ISLAMIC(0), JEWISH(0), HERETIC(0)"

    I would copy the line from the Inquisitor and add it to the Cardinal, with some changes, as follows:

    C: "PAGAN(0), CATHOLIC(1), ORTHODOX(0), ISLAMIC(0), JEWISH(0), HERETIC(0)"

    For faith propogation I would make the following changes from this:

    B: CATHOLIC(2)
    C: CATHOLIC(5)

    To this:

    B: CATHOLIC(1)
    C: CATHOLIC(3)

    This would give slower conversion and slower and steadier zeal build up, only available through the cardinal. I would probably leave the Priests, Orthodox Bishops, Imams and Alims as they are.

    (Alternatively, the Cardinals could be changed into "Monks". These would depend on the Monastary and would be used as the zeal improving agent, having no effect on faith. The GI or I agent could then be used as the new Cardinal, which would simply be an improved bishop and not affect zeal at all.)
