I certainly don't blame you guys for thinking otherwise; but yes, Rythmic's got the right of it. I do not hail from Norway itself; I just live in Minneapolis, Minnesota. My home state boasts the second-biggest group of people with Norwegian descent after Norway itself, and I just happen to number myself among them.
