    Default Plague

If you have a unit enter a plague city, does that reset the plague timer? Once my capital came under the plague. It happened at a time when I had alot of young generals come of age and adoptions going on. Every few turns I would get a new general in the city. And the plague in that city simply would not end. I did not put any new units in the city myself, just the new generals that spawned.

Also, if a plague unit leaves the city an reenters it the same turn does that reset the timer as well? The same city came under siege by an enemy faction. The plague had been going on for several turns and by my estimation it should end within 2 turns. I sallied forth and drove the enemy away. By several turns later, the plague is still going on.

I ended up moving my capitol to another city to stop new generals from entering the city. And I intercepted enemy armies before they got to the city so the garrison would not have to move. This finally ended the plague a few turns later, but seems unrealistic and most tedious as well. Why send my plague infested burecrats(move capitol) to another city? And why would sallying forth or having children come of age cause the plague to continue ad nauseum?
