    Was the dominant tribal kingdom of southern Ireland. Likely included the Osgii, Menapii, and a variety of others, and tribute hoards imply their dominion over Ireland in periods, and extended outside of Ireland at others. Ireland is either named for them, or for one of their deities.

    My list of factions isn't different from Teleklos's;

    I'd push for an emergant Romani Rebel Faction.

    No Galatians or Goidilic factions?
    I shouldn't have to live in a world where all the good points are horrible ones.

    Is he hurt? Everybody asks that. Nobody ever says, 'What a mess! I hope the doctor is not emotionally harmed by having to deal with it.'

    I'd run like hell too . At the same time I know those guys making that dark age mod would use this as an excuse to finally solve the dumb rome versus china topics and include China .

    The Errain/Eirran (litany of other spellings) would become Goidelic within about a generation of the game (or possibly start; it all depends on how one interprets the timing of the emergence of the Gaelic culture as dominant in Ireland).

    Galatian would be very tempting, for the greatest part because it's got a lot of the 'stranger in a strange land' element. Greeks in Afghanistan somewhat similar. Having a faction of that type right there would be great. Mind you, we're talking 29 new factions, which will never happen, so it's just a fun thought. It would be interesting to think about CA releasing a downloadable-only version of the game (1.7?) with some hard coded limits increased. Very simple, but maybe there would be a lot of folks who would download it. I'd wager more folks would than downloaded Alexander.

    Galatians could maybe be worked in with Bithynia. I couldn't see them as a single faction, since most of their work was done by this point as mercenaries or allies of others, but could pad them out a bit (have a realistic Hellenic-Galatian alliance). Could have their second government type be to grant the Galatians more land (since Galatia was formed out of a grant from the king of Bithynia, if I recall).
