Is there any technical reason why this isnt actually feasible for CA? Surely all they need to do is change some numbers in the code. Its not like changing the AI or the game mechanics.

Why making an outdated game better than your gaming company battlehorse?

More money maybe? What would be so awful in making some more cash if all they had to do was open up the province/unit/model/buildingcomplex restrictions? Is that too wacky of an idea?

If they had a commercial brain you'd think they would link it to an update like BI.....you know.....incentivise people to spend more.....

Hell how many of you guys wouldn't mind paying an extra 20 for it(if they did it) ? I would just cause I know the modders would go crazy with it , and that would be an advantage too for CA . It would keep the "hardcore " crowd which they have seem to disowned with M2TW off of modding M2TW.

I've always thought Nubia would be a pretty neat faction to have a go as.
    But I might be lying.

We are working. Testing Update7 even as we speak.....and that's the build that will probably be rolled out to you guys as the v.81 Patch (with a few additional last minute fixes and tweaks, of course.)

And let me tell you. She's a sweet ride!

    Massilia a faction ? hmmm... I don't think so.
Why ? It's to small, don't you think so.
    Belgians OTOH (Nervians, menapians ?).

Where as I doubt how reliable these maps are, I have a map illustrating Massilia as mildly important and relatively large.

    Slavic tribes?
I know there were proto-Slavs in the high north, but certainly not in that part of Europe?

Achaen league - I'm not sure wether it already existed by 270BC, but Sparta and Athens were not part of it at least.

Yeah, that's why I said I doubt the reliablity of it. This set of maps I found are really bad at "barbarian" representation. Each one seems to be related to something specific and the rest is just backround to that kingdom or event.

I remember eadingas said that part of that map was way off (slavic tribes) - however the Massilia thing is right for the most part. They would even be two provinces in an EB2 (which makes them a much more attractive candidate btw), since they would have great influence over Emporion, which was one of their colonies.
