There's a province and/or settlement named Garama or something like that down there in North Africa, isn't there ?

They are from Libya. You can see an Hegemonia city states mod take on these dudes (altough it is couple of centuries earlier version of them) in here

Yeah, thats not an inca....Does look a bit like the stereotypical native american.
I was under the impression the Incas were still stuck with copper ?

Are any of the units on page 1 in the game yet (that is, in 0.81a v2)?

You like EB? Buy CA games.
Well sorta, but that quite how they look in the pics. The Indo-Hellenic Hoplite is definitely already there, so is the Casse to-handed sword dude.(Only in the current build he's Burnett and doesn't have a helmet.) And the Scortamareva(sp?) is in, but he's got way more hair than in that picture.Originally Posted by I Am Herenow

Er... no it's not. There is a difference between the hoplite and noble hoplite.Originally Posted by The Celt
OK, and will all the units on this thread be in the game in the next release, or will some be put into the game later?
But the pic looks almost exactly like the hoplite we've got now! Only lighter skin and some sort of Hindo-Buddhist design on his breastplate. Even the helmet is similar! I'm confused!!!Originally Posted by abou

Depends on when they get done. We have a lot of cool units that haven't been drawn out since we have enough information on them. There was a particular one that Paullus showed us based on a grave stele. We thought it was so cool that we gave it immediate priority to be completed. In fact, it's already done.Originally Posted by I Am Herenow
The Indo-Greek Noble Hoplite is being worked on, but there are some tricky things coming up with the model that we're using. I think they have been resolved though so that is good news.
Do you mean the Baktrion Agema or the Indo-Hellenikoi Hoplitai?Originally Posted by The Celt
The Baktrion Agema and IG Noble Hoplite are on the same model using the Merc trick. Different units, and different areas of recruitment.
Okey, yeah it's kinda like the Arjos/Solduros thing, sweet! Will the IG be on higher MIC level than the Agema?Originally Posted by abou

Heh, you'll have to wait until the next release to find out.
Oh, that reminds me - when the next release comes out, will you make a massive Readme Of Ownage and a thread to go with it, listing the changes from .81a v2 to .9/1.0? So that we don't miss anything![]()
Wonderful work.
But armoured elite units are so boring....![]()
I really like the wild ones, esp. the Garamantine warrior. A good reason to play a faction in this area.![]()

ehm...it is my small piece. I dont know what I penciled for a warior, someone could help me with indetification? I mean he could be a Samnite warior, with some equipment of roman hastat. Maybe he got this equipment after successfull battle against conceited Romans.

Are any planes to make more drawings of the unit present in EB, they are very good plesa make more.
Our unit artist is currently on a well deserved break. When he gets back I imagine we'll have a lot of work for him.

Query: Is the Agema Orditon in game? I find it most charming, but cannot otherwise find it anywhere :D
EB DEVOTEE SINCE 2004
we've been struggling with the shield design. i want it to be a nice-looking shield with a good resolution, but the model its based on has a one-piece shield. you can get much better resolution with a shield on quarters, or halves, so i've been lobbying for a change there. the rest of the unit is complete, i'm sorry we didn't get it in. perhaps i'll post the unit description in here later, as a tease.

Greetings EB's,
Where did the art work come from of the Elephants in battle? it's in your historical battle screen.
I did try and find it on the internet, but to no avail, I presume it's not done for the mod but exists somewhere else. Could I have it's name/the artist, I'd like it for a pressie for my son.
Thanking you kindly.
Someone else would know more but I think it was a professional guy who said he was going to work on stuff for EB but only did that screen and left... don't get your hopes up we might not know his name.Originally Posted by Digby Tatham Warter
