My PC

Hello everyone i am not sure if this belongs in this section or not but wanted to ask people that play RTW.

My pc is a Gateway 700GR , Intel(R), Pentium(R)4 3.4ghz, i have 2 GB of Ram Pc3200 i believe. My video card is a Radeon X1600 Pciexpress, 512 mb card. I purchasted the comp from another site not gateway so it dont have all that crap on it.

My problem is i should be able to at least run battles with 10k men on it and i struggle with 6k. Any tips to keep good graphical views and not take a performance hit. Or any ideas on what might be wrong. I know i have updated all my drivers so i dunno what else to think.

Don't worry klysto, it's not your PC. It's the game engine itself. R:TW can only cope with about 6,000 men in a battle before the software itself starts to struggle. The best way of preventing this is by lowering the number of men in a unit to "large" in the settings files, this will not work on existing saved games but, it will work on new games and custom battles.
