unmodified descr_strat file..please

Hey folks, I was trying to unlock factions in this file, but now, when I try to start a game with a faction in the grand campaign, I get thrown out to the main menu. I figured this might be because I've messed up the descr_strat file while editing it, so please, somebody send me an unmodified version of descr_strat. I borrowed my cd to a friend so he could try the game and see if he likes it, so I can't just reinstall the game. If I could, I wouldn't be bothering anybody with this request, but I'd really like to start playing, so please help me out.

How can you play without CD?

I do not see how it has any relevance to my post. I'm not posting any adresses to warez or any sort of hacking sites like those. My game installation is as original as it gets. The only thing you might consider illegal would be the no-cd crack(which I use solely for practical reasons), and I have no interest in distributing links or anything like that concerning no-cd cracks OR any other illegal matters concerning this game. I simply want an unmodified descr_strat file, so I can try to my error.

You should be able to get one yourself by using the unpacker...

wel by giving your cd to your "friend" you have already committed software piracy. its cos of no-cd cracks that more game publisheres are having other more intrusive software developed which just messes up your system. i dont understand why inserting a cd can be such a big hassle.
