That's the role that the 'no edit' is intended to serve. Make you read and reread your posts before you actually send them up.

My two major/minor warnings have expired for a day and I still can't edit my posts. I know I used "bullshit" in a Backroom post to explain the freedom of speech but I can't edit my posts and the sig won't show up no matter what I do. Willl this restrictions last forever?

Check that you have no outstanding warnings and if so you may have a problem
Try backing up and deleting the pms telling you they'd expired - they do funny things to the inbox so why not this?

According to that you can now edit your posts again, so i don't see what the problem is - unless you mean that you didn't post that?
Oh, and oustanding in that context meant any warnings that have not yet been lifted.
