Default What was that fix for the CTD's mid campaign?

Wasn't it making all factions able to recruit all units all the time or something? I'm itching to start a campaign now as i haven't played for months and i can't wait for the patch so i'm going to start one, finish it and then download the patch, but what exactly was that fix somebody found to stop the CTDs?

    Danke.

You make 1 unit available for every faction in every town.
I made a EDB with that fix and many other fixes available here:
    EDB v.802 (CTD Fix)

You're going to start a campaign now? Now out of all times? I know EB isn't the fastest releasing mod, or most reliable when it comes to saying "soon" (I seem to remember the word "soon" being thrown around months ago for 0.81) but it looks pretty good that the release is in fact right around the corner. I'm dying to start a campaign myself, but I'm going to wait the week or so until release. Perhaps you should rethink your position.

The fix doesen't work for my present Parthian campaign, I still get CTDs on the AI turn. Maybe it only works on new campaigns?

"One of the nice things about looking at a bear is that you know it spends 100 per cent of every minute of every day being a bear. It doesn't strive to become a better bear. It doesn't go to sleep thinking, "I wasn't really a very good bear today". They are just 100 per cent bear, whereas human beings feel we're not 100 per cent human, that we're always letting ourselves down. We're constantly striving towards something, to some fulfilment"

It is savegame compatable and will fix the error in current campaigns. Are you sure you put it in the right place? Only like 99.9% of the AI turn CTD are caused by the revolting city bug. The rest of them are random, illogical things, you may have one of these.

It may be... Seems to be an illogical thing, but it's regular; on the AI turn, it crashes on Baktria...

And yes, I am sure I put it in the right place
