To answer your question, there are many factors that go into charging.
1. make sure that the unit is formed up (in neat lines)
2. the flatter the ground, the better
3. single right click to charge (then hit 'r' to make them run if you want)
4. Pause the game, and order your units one by one, or they'll attempt some sort of 'smart attack' that never works. This applies to all units that are grouped - if you want them to work properly, order them one by one
5. Pray
From wise men, O Lord, protect us -anon
The death of one man is a tragedy; the death of millions, a statistic -Stalin
We can categorically state that we have not released man-eating badgers into the area -UK military spokesman Major Mike Shearer
Ok, thank I will do what you say.

What i want to add into the question I've been hearing that u have to get into some type of distance before u can charge is that true ?
Wait for the charge to happen does the calvalry has to be face to face against the unit you are charging at? Thanks
"I thought CA was unarmed? Unless he got some samurai swords or something... I only got some rocks and some sticks." Shlin in BR realizing he has no weapons what so ever.
To answer precisely, a unit charges when it moves to atack, you don't have to order them to charge specifically. You click, or double click on the enemy unit. Your unit marches, or runs, towards the enemy. Your unit will charge automatically when at the right distance.Originally Posted by Deathtone
