Are wonders a possibility in Medieval II? Alternatively, would it be possible to add a new resource (with the appropriate model) which would have "wonder-like" effects?
Thanks,
Ilsamir Lord
No. The wonders are still disabled in the M2TW game. But their effects are still workable in M2TW.

Macedon or Macedonia (from Greek Μακεδονία) was the name of the ancient Greek kingdom in the northern-most part of ancient Greece. For a brief period it became the most powerful state in the ancient Near East after Alexander the Great conquered most of the known world, inaugurating the Hellenistic period of Greek history...
Well, I'm not sure about them being "still" disabled, but I suppose then that the question remains - can you import a model (with the appropriate, and still unreleased program) which can be placed on the campaign map and then bestow the appropriate bonus specifically on a particular faction?
Sorry friend, the "still" disabled is orthographically incorrect, I mean, disabled.
If its possible to add the model, and copy the Landmark files from Rome: Total War (and add the landmark locations in descr_strat.txt), maybe is possible to enable the landmarks in M2TW.
Are there some good ideas for landmarks?
For example:
1) Colosseum, Rome
2) Acropolis, Athens
3) Sacred Mosque, Mecca
4) Pyramid of Giza, Egypt
5) Santa Sofia, Constantinople
6) For Jerusalem, I can't remember any for Medieval Ages, but there are some landmarks in this town.

For Jerusalem perhaps ... the Temple of Solomon? Though I'm fairly certain it doesn't qualify as a "wonder".Originally Posted by SilentResident
Jerusalem gives you a global 10% loyalty from "glory" if I remember correctly.
Yes, I believe Temple of Solomon is very good and famous landmark.Originally Posted by Lopus

There are the real historically corrected Medieval Wonders:
1) Colosseum, Rome (ITALY)
2) Acropolis, Athens (BYZANTIUM)
3) Stonehenge, Amesbury (ENGLAND)
4) Catacombs of Kom el Shoqafa, Alexandria (EGYPT)
5) Santa Sofia, Constantinople (BYZANTIUM)
6) Great Wall of China, China (CHINA) (Replaced by Solomon's Temple, Jerusalem, as China is not in the game)
7) The Leaning Tower of Pisa, Florence (ITALY)

Yes! This is an good idea! To create new wonders-buildings, constructable, and available only in certain cities!!!Originally Posted by alpaca
For example: Santa Sophia (Hagia Sofia) is a new building, with new picture and symbols, constructable only in city of Constantinople (this can be by using the hidden resources like: sparta rome italy)
(indestructible can be by adding the word "hinterland" in each wonder-building..
