What are your favorite games of the past year. 2006 had a lot of great titles, and you can pick any game off any system you want. All i care about is what do you guys/gals like and what games, other than total war games, do you like?

Well given that Galactic Civilizations 2 was the *only* game I got in 2006, I guess my choice is pretty easy.
That aside, however, it really is a terrific game, especially if you like conquer-the-galaxy 4x strategy titles. Even if I were a fiend that churned through dozens of games a year, GalCiv 2 would still probably be at the top of my list.

Oh yes, I only buy Total War games. That excludes me.

Back on topic.
I played Battlefield 2, Civilization IV, Rome Total War, Age of Empires III and more recently, Medieval 2 Total War. Thats all I think...
