It seems I have encountered a small bug.

In Asaak, at the start of an AS campaign, I am able to retrain one unit of Persian Archers, while none are present - for 50 mnai. It seems for a weapon / shield upgrade.

No bug. There is definitely a Persian Archer in that city. And since the Archer has no "armor upgrade" and there's also a blacksmith in Asaak, well, yes, you can upgrade him. The Archers are present in several other AS cities in that region, too.

It did not show up on my unit scroll - that is why it amazed me. If I open the unit scroll, I only see a single unit of pantodapoi.

Is your system sort of slow or are you running a number of other things at the same time?

I was sharing the torrent when it happened. All these cities in that area seemed to have but 1 unit of pantodapoi.

When I started an AS campaign, it was there. So the problem (if it exists) was on my part.
