Thread: A newbie Question

    Default A newbie Question

Is there a mod that simply unifies all the roman factions? I have been looking for one and can't seem to find one. The ones that I did find were for older versions of RTW (like 1.2 or so), instead of 1.5.

I want to combine the Roman factions and use Vanilla Balance Mod 4.

Is there a way to do this?

    Hi Bobalot,

I don't know of a 1.5 mod that simply combines the Roman families without affecting the remainder of the campaign. I don't think it would be too hard to accomplish, though. There is a mod that does this for 1.2 (see http://www.twcenter.net/forums/showt...stpost&t=21351, but it might not work if you have a later version of RTW.

In any case it won't be compatible with Vanilla Balance Mod.

I might get round to making an optional add-on for VBM with a unified Rome, but I'm afraid it won't be for months.

You could try Rome Total Gameplay. I know for a fact that they have a unifed rome mod, but i dont know if you need to use it in collaboration with the rest of the campaign. (which isnt necessarily a bad thing as it is a very good campaign!)

    Hi,
This could be useful to a certain extent. It's a handy tutorial on how to convert Roman factions into different factions. I beleive that it also shows you how to kill the senate and unify Rome under the Julii. Good luck, cheers!
