    Default Diffrent Religons

Part of me is a little annoyed at the fact that you are stuck in the same Religion as you started as. In actual history Protestants were in England and they spread from Germany. Pagan worship still happens in Scandinavia and many other countries. So why not allow the switch in the game?

Small part of me wishes that you could switch religions in the game, now switching to Orthodox may cause the pope and all catholics to try and send a army much like the independence war you fought in Colonization (if any of you remember a game that old). so fighting a religious war of independence might be something to add to the game but with a fight with the pope or maybe a mission from the pope should you wish to join him, Riots against the religion you wish to join in your cities. I am not to sure, but it's just a idea I had.

    Flame away.

My 2 cents though is that we'll never see this feature, officially or through mods, just because it's probably more work that CA will want to put into this game now that it's released. The only way I could see this coming about is if the expansion covers the rise of the Protestants in Europe, and factions being able to "choose" at some arbitrary point in time.

Actually if you'll read your history the reformation starts only just after 1530, coincidentally the time where CA decided to call the End for the MEDIEVAL game. After this you are into the Rennaisance, and although a great idea for a game this is a different matter completely. Lets hope to see it in the near future!

@Whaker: The feature was in BI though, so theirs no reason it couldn't have been put into M2TW, they are the same engine after all.
    Find my ProblemFixer Purehere.

This ProblemFixer fixes the following: 2-Hander bug, Pike Bug, Shield Bug, Chasing Routers, Cav not Charging, Formation Keeping Improved, Trait Bugs, and Ancillary Bugs.

BETA Testers needed for the current version of RebuildProblemFixer. Thread here

There were no official religion, as well as Pope, in BI. So you could have both Pagan and Christian cities if you liked to. Conversion also worked different in BI.
BTW, I just discovered that high level of religious diversity is somehow beneficial for your diplomats - they get Open Minded line of traits. Conversely, lack of diversity produces Would-Be Inquisitors.

Aff it was, but it wasn't very... graceful. I think CA could resurrect this and put some better code and execution around this quite easily, but as I stated I highly doubt we're going to see this capability in the base game or through modding. Pessimistic maybe... But I think realistic. Never hurts to dream though. You reading this CA?
