Cant intall EB! (error) :(

Cant install EB atm, because after files are extracted from archive im getting error message (tried to run 0.81 install programm several times, tried to reset PC, but it didnt help) that sounds like (i got non-english windows 2000 version, so translation can be quite innaccurate but the meaning wont change): Unable to find "C:\Documents and Settings\замовар\Application Data\Europa Barbarorum\Europa Barbarorum 0.81 Full\install\3A03D69" (or some of its components). Check whether the directory and file name is proper and all of necessary libraries present."

Pls help if you can :P

...is your problem.

I'm assuming this is your Windows user name. The software of the extractor cannot identify non roman letters (and "arabic" numbers). The extractor makes a temperary file, and for Windows are temperary files are in a directory that includes the current user's user name. Thus the installer can't read the file it just extracted.

I would suggest making a new user for windows with roman characters, extract, then switch back to your normal user name (delete the new user if you desire).

that happened to me and i hope this helps. When u try to install the EB by default it tries to create a different folder OUT of the RTW, u have to change that and redirect the installation into the RTW directory. I hope this helps and also u know that it should go with the 1.5 if i recall. good luck
