    Default Web Access Share Mess

    Houston, we have a problem.

My homemate has bought a USB Wireless Adapter. Fine. Attaching an antenna, it works and we can access web through his PC.

However the problem arises when we want to share it with other PCs at home.

We also have a 4-Ethernet-port ADSL Router Modem. So we want to use only its home networking capability. We have plugged the ethernet cables, and as I predicted, the other PC could not access web so easily. I have modified the TCP/IP configurations a lot but couldn't make it anywhere. This much difficulty was out of my predictions.

Do any friends here have an idea how to configure our ADSL router mdoem and the TCP/IP configurations so that we can share the web access ?

    Thanks in advance.

Windows XP's Networking Wizard painlessly solved the problem.

Sometimes we are trying too hard on Windows. I think it forced us to do everything manually so much that we forget its ability sometimes.

Thanks for the great help, Hepcat! A la Turca on its way, mate.
