Renaming Provinces
One thing about RTW I liked better than M2 was the fact that provinces had historically based names, instead of the boring old "X Region" or, occassionally "Isle of Y." After a brief scan of the M2 folder, I saw several files that relate to province names, does anyone know which ones I would have to edit, or is it something I, with little/no modding experience, should avoid?

At least this time they stuck Tripoli on the proper (west) end of Libya. In MTW, Tripoli was right where Benghazi is supposed to be.

Yup, u can chnge the list of provinces yourself. Don´t forget to also change their respective entries in the descr_strat file too. Good luck!Originally Posted by dph948

You can change the name of a province by merely clicking on it's name on the info sheet and change it.

It depends on whether you wanna change the name of the city or castle that you have or if you want to change the province name when the campaign starts

This man is correct.You can change the name of a province by merely clicking on it's name on the info sheet and change it.
