    Default AI Expansion

I dont know what you guys did but the AI is actually working its way around the map. I found this amazing because I stopped playing RTW and, sad to say, EB .80 because they AI only attacked one another and never moved on. I had no reason to fight another faction since i could find much easier grabs from the rebels without having to worry about reinforcements.

While they arent pushing as hard as I am in terms of land grabbing, I am impressed that they are expanding. Im in the year 260 and so far the Gaulic factions have taken 2 rebel settlements, Germanic tribes took 2, IBERIA IS EXPANDING! rathe than sitting in their one province, as is the Getai. Sadly as I move farther east not much is being done apart from the Seleukids but I wont need to worry about them for awhile in my Romani Campaign.

yeah its the same in my game, Seleukids have basically pwned most of their enemies, and own all of asia minor, and WERE attempting to invade greece, but macedonia took byzantion rather quickly, Lustonnia is also expanding well so far, Carthage...... dissapoints me, they havent aquired even one new province, they half have stacks of units on their 3 islands, just looking out to sea...... while my brave roman troops pillage their precious capital, the steppe factions are also expanding well, or at least better then ive seen in some campaigns.

I have the feeling this will be a very.... very fun campaign

OH btw, the casse own all of britian and will prly shortly move into ireland..... oh the FUN!

We did give the gauls a little better MIC's in some of their cities, that may be the key there. Plus a unit or two was made available a little earlier than they were getting them before. We hope they play a lot more smoothly than before, but we still have more to go. We just don't have anyone to make new units for them right now honestly, so they are stagnating just a little in that respect, till some Iberian ones can get done and we switch someone over for them.

    Thumbs up Re: AI Expansion

AI expansion has significantly improved. In my game All the formerly passive factions like Casse, Lusotannan, Saka, Sweboz and Sauromatae have started expanding.
The Pahlava have become true wastelanders by taking over most of the steppes between them and the Sauromatae, forcing the Saka into protectorate status. The Saka however, have atleast three steppe provinces, so they're not just a red blot on the edge of the map anymore.
The greatest power however is the Seleukids. They've kicked the Ptolemies out of Asia Minor, Phoenicia, Sinai and Iudaia. Last time I checked, they were knocking on the gates of Alexandria with only a token resistance inside.
Early in the game the Ptolemies put up a decent fight but now they're getting rolled over.
In 0.80 it was more common to see the Ptolies finish off the AS.
Overall great improvement to the previous build!

Now if I could just find a way to avoid getting rolled over by the AS myself...
