Sorry if this has been discussed elsewhere. I just would like to know what will the EB Team do now? Are you already working on an improved 0.82 or 0.9 version or will you start a new mod for Medieval II Total War?
Thanks for the replay.![]()

The version number will likely see a change in style, however the team is working on bringing you the next version, which will be developed to the fullest, not dropped simply because M2TW came out.
As long as new models can't be added to MTW2, I doubt you'll see us putting much effort into using it. When that changes, so will our focus (more than likely in my opinion), but until then we will keep working on this engine.
Whatever you do, I'm sure it's going to be great. EB has made me forget all about MTW2 for the time being.
In fact if it weren't against the law of man and nature, I would probably try to marry this mod.
I really hope you keep up the good work! (And that my d..... faction leader finally gets the "Imperator" kudos he deserves).

The next step (at least for me) is to play and enjoy this version, which is pretty awesome in my humble opinion![]()

You bloodsuckers, 0.81 just came out and you're already harassing! Not really. Anyway, I bought M2TW beat it twice in almost no time and realized it just wasn't the same, EB has forever changed me. I haven't played since instead refreshing the EB forum in my browser 3 times a day and playing it without any other consideration.
I'm Batman!
Without getting into details, the team has established a rough time frame for the next release (and no, we won't give you even a hint as to what that is), and are assembling the list of must-have's and nice-to-have's for inclusion there-in. At the same time, work continues on several major new features and a few fundamental changes to existing features.
I would NOT advise anybody to hold off on playing v.81 in the interim.
