Playing Baktrian campaign with Bi.exe, Saka commanders look like vanilla barbarian ones (from BI i think). Is this a bug due to the use of the BI.exe or they are just placeholders?

God bless the EB team.

Place holders for now. The steppe generals are the last on the list for a makeover it seems.

Uhh... I made some general skins for EB (one for everyone missing general), but I did so by hacking up some EB skins, so basically none of my work is my own. I'd release them if I felt the EB team wouldn't care, maybe I'll post up and ask if you really want. Or I can send them to you directly, PM me if you want.

For the record, the EB Team is pretty strict about "hacking up" our skins. Some background:

We often get requests from other teams, asking to borrow one or more skins for use in their mod. And most of the time we agree, but always with the caveat that both the artist and EB be credited for the work, and further: "The skins may not be altered in any way, but must remain intact." If that seems a bit draconian, it's primarily there to protect the work of the talented artists who created them. Once you start "parting out" units, it doesn't take long before the origin is lost. And then, not only does the original artist not get credit for his work, but worse, an innocent party may borrow one of these hybrid units for use in another mod. And if the EB Team detects portions of our work being used without attribution, it's very likely the other mod will be accused of stealing. Which is just bad news all the way around.

So with that in mind, there is nothing to stop individuals from performing their own personal alterations to our units. And so long as that use doesn't spread beyond their personal build, no problem. But once those things start getting loaned out and shipped around, it's almost inevitable they will someday wind up posted somewhere, and a bad sequence of events is all but guaranteed.

So I would ask you to keep those modified units to yourself, and I hope you can understand our rationale for that request.
