Thread: How do I lose the intro movies?
vonsch 01:41 02-23-2007
I disabled the event videos fine, but looks like it's gonna take something outside the game itself to lost those pre-menu and post-menu flicks when starting a campaign. Anyone figured it out yet? I tried searching both here and .com without success.

I'm sure I saw it (and actually got the tip) on here somewhere, but it would probably be fairly difficult to locate again.

Thanks, Foz!

I hate when they leave those flags out (but have them coded!)

I named this topic so the next searcher should find the info. I turned up nothing pertinent with searches on "videos" and "movies."

You could just press 'Esc' to skip the intro screens

Foz, is that "movies = 0" or "movies=0"?

Well what I put IS "movies = 0" but I'm not certain that is what is correct. I seem to recall copying and pasting from the file, but I could be wrong. If I typed it by hand, I naturally would have added the spaces.

So, short answer: try it one way, and if it CTDs or doesn't skip the movies, then put it the other way
