-btw, this is with the full install over new game and all that.
I loaded the game, and your CTD is due to one of two things:

    1) Playing a v.80 game in a v.81 install, or

    2) A v.80 map.rwm file in a v.81 build

I know this because when I load the game in my clean v.81 build, it shows up with the Blue Baktrian Border in Belgica. And that's a sure sign of one of those two problems.

That's impossible... It's definately not an .80 game, I deleted the entire RTW directory it was installed in and downloaded and installed the full 0.81. Also, I deleted the map.rwm at least once during the campaign.

Don't know what to tell you man, the campaign is definitely FUBAR. I have a clean v.81 build, but your save file showed up IMMEDIATELY with the blue border. That never happens with a normal save.

Weird..... I'm 100% positive I did the things I mentioned, cuz well, I did them lol. Well in any case, I moved on without the script that turn, but yeah it's weird. I'll do it all over before starting another new campaign, maybe even re-download just to make sure it's not a corrupt one. But anyhoo, everything else has been just dandy so woohoo!

Thanks for taking a look Kull!

I got past my CTD by enslaving Thermon rather than exterminating it. Also i didnt activate the script that turn (cos I forgot in my hurry to see if I could get past it). Either way, I am able to continue my campaign as normal...

So about my problem, do you suggest I reinstall EB?

Probably a good idea. If possible, install a clean RTW v1.5 and then put the full v.81 install on top of that. To be safe (since you've already had problems), it would best to have no vestiges of previous mods of any kind. Also, don't install any "optional" or "enhanced" mods. None are officially supported by the team.

See my thread on how easy it is to mess up your map.rwm file and you can see why it's best not to monkey around with the build unless you are an expert. EB is vastly complicated, and should be plenty entertaining all by itself. I'm not saying you did any of those things, but it's all too easy to start applying add-ons and thereby ruin your campaign.

Also, it is critically important that you run the script every time you load a game - not just at the start of a campaign, but everytime you launch RTW and reload the campaign. Just click on any of your cities and the advisor will appear.

If any of this is unclear, please review the FAQ - it is very helpful and will save you from having many headaches.
