    Have you tried the more detailed logging level? Error logging may not be sufficient. Don't remember where I saw it, but I think you use level = debug instead of level = error, which might turn over some more useful information for you. That is of course assuming you're not using it already.

    but I think you use level = debug instead of level = error,
    Where's that setting go?

    I havn't seen anything like it in the CFG file...

    Well if it doesn't work with any files, there's probably some mischief going on. Are you working in a mod folder or with file_first? You may want to try the other option here ;)

    i'm using the io_file_first method as I could never get the mod folder trick to work when I tried it myself. but that was pre patch 1.1 so...

    I was off a lil - this is how mine looks in my preferences.cfg:

    [log]
    to = logs/system.log.txt
    level = * error
    If you don't have a [log] section, just add one at the beginning of the cfg file.

    IIRC you just put "debug" where "error" currently is in mine, and it makes the game spit out a lot more info when it generates the log. I'm having trouble finding it via search though to confirm it - I'm pretty sure I saw it on here though. Prolly some obscure post...

    Thanks Foz, and i still can't get a mod folder to work, despite the fact that Lysteds LTC seems to work Fine and I actually copied his CFG file and just edited the name and the name after the Mod = bit.
