Lets discover how to make unit cards!

I'm finally fed up with all the green peasants. First of all I want to use already existing unit cards for those that have none. Like the pontus chariots, I made them available for all eastern civilisations and the pontus are the only ones without the green peasant on them. So can I just direct all of the other eastern civilisations to that unit card?

Note: I'm only starting, I even have no idea where the unit cards are!

Ok. Time to point you in a few directions. If you simply want to use your current set simply go to data/ui/units and start there. Cards are listed by faction. What you'll need to do is just take whichever card you want, copy it and place it in the faction you want it for.

The only UI folder I've got in my folder is in BI\data. In there are the units for the BI game. I ain't got a UI folder in my data folder for RTW. Whys that?

you need to unpack the .pak file in data/packs before you see them, use:

If you change any you need to put them in new folders on path rtw/data/ui/units etc
game does not read from the unpacked files in rtw/data/packs/data/ui

It seems to have most pics when I view it, just missing something when it says 'Double click on the icon shown below' which should be referring to .bat file. Are you still actually having trouble getting it to work or just reporting that tutorial needs something?

Tutorial is nice but you should really be able to get things unpacked just using instructions in readme that comes with xpak (and noting my comment about moving changed files to correct path)
