    Default XP-to-Vista Visual Transformation Package

    Try at your own risk.

Just don't ignore the instructions, don't be a next-next-clicker and you'll be fine.

Personally i wouldn't touch it (i prefer using one thing, eg the uxtheme patch, rather than getting an entire program) but good luck to those who do

I've installed it, and everything seems smooth for now. But it really needs care, you should not neglect what the instructions tell you.

Anyway I was a keen admirer of that MacOs dock where you had shortcuts, running program windows and so on. Seems some developers feel the same way I do and they have written RocketDock to patch this feature onto Windows XP. Here is the download link.

    I love it

I've never seen what the dock has over a simple panel of program icons (such as those i use in bblean)

Care to explain (I really don't have much experience with it)?

Well it looks aesthetic with smooth animations, can auto hide, hold your favorite programs' shortcuts by easy drag & dropping, it can even show your running programs' windows in thumbnail mode (of which the size of the pixels are adjustable). And contrary to Windows custom shortcut bars, it's hard to lose or mess its location and shape.

    Thumbs up The best is...

The best is Vista Customisation Pack 3.6. Can be found also in various locations.

Absolutely best and is perfectly stable. My friend tried, I tried, but I don't like too much dark look of Vista.

Well, the real Vista Aero Glass can be set to a cutom colour, so if it's too dark, just make it brighter.
