I was just motoring nicely along in my first .81 campaign as the Romans, minding my own business, when I noticed a vivid blue area appear in NW Europe, on the mini map.

Investigation revealed the new owners of Belgium!

Obviously, the Baktrian 101st Airborne Elephant Division (equipped with their new Dumbo Mk.1's) has done a midnight drop behind Selucid lines in order to spread mayhem and consternation.

Maybe they got lost and overshot in the dark.

This probably is a bug, as it was reported before in this thread.

I have the same thing. Came when I deleted map.rwm AFTER I started the campaign (stupid me).

It's not a bug, instead you forgot to delete map.rwm after installing the patch. This is absolutely critical to get a stable game. While the blue Belgia is merely funny, CTDs arising from it are not. I advise deleting map.rwm and starting a new campaign.
