    Default Disappearing campaigns

Modded a bit today, fixing and altering a few things for the Early XL, High XL and Late XL campaings in the startpos-file. Now, for some reason, my High XL and Late XL campaign has disappeared. It's no huge loss as I prefer to start in Early, but I would really like to try it out with the Venetians in Constantinople by 1205 and the Genoese in the Crimea in 1321.
I did about the same amount of changes to each of the three campaings (removed some factions from certain provinces and replaced them with rebels etc, altered buildings and units in provinces) but the Early XL campaign is the only one that remains. Any ideas about what I might have done wrong?

It means something is wrong in your startpos files.

EDIT: Usually it is a unit name misspelt.

Thanks Managed to retrieve my Late XL campaign (I had written "Halberdiers" instead of "Halbardiers") but then I managed to mess up my Early XL campaign instead. Why can't I just settle with things as they are?

When I first edited the Early-campaign I removed the Cumans from Wallachia and Moldavia and replaced them with some rather good rebels (two units of Avar Nobles in Moldavia) and removed the Hungarians from Croatia (and moved their king's starting position to Hungary instead). I also removed the Almoravids from Algeria and Tunisia and placed their caliph in Cordoba. Then everything worked fine.
When I made some more tweaks I moved the Almoravid caliph from Cordoba to Marocco instead and removed the dhow in Gibraltar Strait (having all their heirs popping up in Cordoba made the Elmos invinsible). I also tried to put the Papal States in the hands of the HRE, but when this didn't work out I made them rebel instead. Of course I altered the Pope's starting position to Rome. And now it won't work. I've checked all the spelling but I just can't find anything that's wrong. I've even made sure that all capitals are the same in all words (like sometimes the "Improved_farmland" is called "Improved_Farmland"). I really don't care for the High-campaign (I can't figure out what I've done wrong there either) but I need my Early-XL campaign

Never mind, I fixed it. Apparently it's ID_MOROCCO and not ID_MAROCCO...Stupid little misses

It can get annoying tracking all the little errors. At least if the game starts up correctly and the campaign is missing I know that the problem is just a syntax error in the startpos file.
I try to always work on one section at a time and then start up the game to make sure that the campaign is still working. Tracking down a single letter syntax error can be quite a handful if you basically have multiple sections of the startpos file to sort through.

My most common mistake is using a faction name instead of a province name and vice versa (i.e. FN_NORWAY instead of FN_NORWEGIAN).
