Thread: Tarentine Elite Cavalry

    Default Tarentine Elite Cavalry

I'm playing as Epirus and really love the unit of Tarentine Elite Cavalry I started out with in Taras and I'm really hoping I'll be able to recruit them later on. What do I need to recruit them, and are they only available in Taras (as I assume is the case)? Thanks.

For Epeiros, it appears that they are recruitable in Kalabria and Brettia only. There are more light but armed cavalry in the works for them though.

What level MIC do I need for Tarentine Cavalry? And which one, the factional MIC or the regional MIC? Thanks.

I shouldn't have to live in a world where all the good points are horrible ones.

Is he hurt? Everybody asks that. Nobody ever says, 'What a mess! I hope the doctor is not emotionally harmed by having to deal with it.'

Shouldn't the Romans get them as a regional unit? Or did they never use Tarentine cavalry?

skirmisher cavalry, the only hand to hand fighting i'd use them for would be against foot skirmishers or other light cavalry.

They've got AP melee weapons and a decent attack with them, so I'd say they make decent enough flankers for a heavy-cavalry fight. Kinda like Hippakontistai on steroids really.

I and many others around the world are of the strong belief that the universe was created by a Flying Spaghetti Monster. --- Proof of the existence of the FSM, if needed, can be found in the recent uptick of global warming, earthquakes, hurricanes, and other natural disasters. Apparently His Pastaness is to be worshipped in full pirate regalia. The decline in worldwide pirate population over the past 200 years directly corresponds with the increase in global temperature. Here is a graph to illustrate the point."
