Can't copy RTW

Sorry for all the new topics here, but I've got another strange issue. For some reason, my computer always quits when trying to make a copy of vanilla suddenly. Also, my file property has "read only" checked; maybe I never noticed before, but that seems strange. It is on all my files as well, so I dunno if I'm just being dumb or what. Any help would be appreciated.

As thread starter you have the ability to delete the duplicate threads.

What do you mean, "my computer always quits"? Windows reboots? This is hardly an EB issue.

Sorry, I didn't make my post clear, it gets to a certain file, sound fx or something like that and then won't go any further.

Edit: spefically, it says it can't copy sfx.dat because it fails a cyclic redundancy check.

Sounds like something wrong with the file, and therefore something wrong with the install. Annoyingly, your best bet is, I think, to reinstall it all.
