The Americas?

For some reason my PC isnt loading a lot of the forums right now so I'm just going to post this to get a quick answer.

How do we get to the Americas? Is it set at a specific date, or can we travel there by ship at anytime just by sailing west?

What do you think I tried first? Like I said, it wouldnt load up for some reason on my PC, just kept sitting there, acting like it was loading, but after 10 mins you know its not loading...

You obviously failed to perform your required weekly sacrifice to the computer gremlins that live in your power supply. If you don't appease them they start to eat packets as they come in on your network connection, and if they get real hungry... well let's not go there.

I haven't gotten that far yet but from my understanding around 1400-1408 you get the event 'World is Round. You also have to have the capabilities to build ocean faring vessels, meaning a huge city with the level 4 dockyards.
You should then be ready to find America.
