Now im working on the English. This time im trying to play a different way.
I will make an empire out of the Holy lands and wipe out the mongols when they appear.

There's a point in every game when it's just not interesting to continue. I feel I can steamroll anybody, just don't bother to.
Played as England, Moors and Byzantium (now).
2: Spain and the Turks so far. Russians now![]()

4 long ones, but I intentionallt made extra conditions for victory like, no attacking fellow catholics or no sacking, always releasing, no exploits etc.
I think an Iron-man set of rules would be good

I voted 1 though technically I haven't achieved final victory for the HRE yet. I do have a large army 1 year of travel away from Rome (maybe 2 days because the way is blocked by some Papal units). I just haven't found the time all week to actually go and take Rome (having kids really cuts into your gaming time guys...)
I really enjoyed this campaign though it is a shame I didn't put more emphasis on teching up because I didn't really get a chance to use the top tier units yet, and using them now seems kind of pointless, since I have in essence already won. I used the mounted crossbowmen once but they failed to kill the English king before the battle was almost over, so they weren't that useful. I haven't yet used arquebusiers, gothic knights or Reiters, so that is a lot of potential still untapped.
Probably I should redo the HRE on a harder level but I am just itching to try a new faction now, probably the Danes or Hungarians.

Egypt, Spain, England
hre, scots, turks, moors, sicilians, french
atm byzantine
I always feel bad when i reach the limit of their real expansion, going anywhere else seems stupid unless i can think of some kind of excuse like trying to remake the Roman empire as Byzantium.

Only one, as HRE (and in only 60 turns).
Right now I have campaigns going as France, HRE, Milan, Hungary, Venice, Scotland and Poland. I’ve had a hard time deciding who to specialize in!![]()
0, played as England and Byz. Shelved the game due to bugs and balance problems shortly after 1.1. patch. Looks like the 1.2 patch may help fix many of these, at least hopefully.
1 as england. Currently playing as Sicily. Ended up blitzing a few territories off the start. Took Durazzo and Cagliari within a turn or two, ended up getting several units of troops (as rewards from the council of nobles) which sent my budget into the negatives. I received 4 units of Mailed Knights which increased my expenses by 1000 florins!. Since there was no way to rebalance the budget without disbanding the new troops, I utilized those new troops and several others to quickly take Ajuccio and Florence. When I have the troops prepared, I have eyes on Tunis and then off to Timbuktu for lots of gold.
On the dipomacy scene, the princess blitzed Italy to get trade agreements and alliances with the Pope, HRE, Venice and Milan.
Finished my first one as England just the other night. I was using a combination of Ultimate AI/M2TW Lite and Darth's battle formations mods, so waiting on patch 1.2 before I start another one so I can play a vanilla game with all the fixes promised to see how it plays out. Probably will play as England again just to compare vanilla 1.2 with 1.1 modded version I was using.
One, as Egypt.
7 total, England, France, Milan, Sicily, Turks, Spain, and Denmark. Blitz through all of them pretty fast. Working on my Russian campaign now.
Byzantines first game, then Spain second game, then Venice third game. Stopped playing then until the second patch. Thinking of England for game 4.

Haven´t ever finished a campaign and I probably never will. The long camp requirements are ridiculous: "take XX provinces" etc etc, bah! Like the only measurement of a successful kingdom/ empire is conquest?! The short camp rec are too easy though. And it´s always about destroying factions, personally I don´t like it.
I roleplay my games hardcore and when my objectives are met I quit. Usually I´m done in 100-150 turns. I´ve never played with cannons and muskets since I´m done with the game before that. I miss eras, glorious achievements and the ability to play this game with a more cultural feeling.
I'm not able to vote, but to date I've only finished one campaign as England (VH/VH). I'm currently about 30 moves into Egypt on VH/VH.

Actually not a singe one=) I couldn't agree more with you Mithradates. I always have a problem with finishing long campaigns too because scenarios like the Scottish invading Turkey etc seems to me too unrealistic and not exactly historical correct. Which is the way I like it, at least almost![]()
I blitz everytime so I finish long campaigns quite quickly. Milan, Denmark, Hungary, Venice, Portugal, Spain, Sicily, Poland, HRE, Turks, and Byz Empire which is 11 i believe

I am not allowed to vote. But finished as Turks, England, Spain, Russia and Denmark so far.
i clicked 2 to 4, but as i now recall it is probably more like 6. i to tend to start alot of campaigns and then give up when i have no more challenging enemies.
because of the crazy ai it eventually becomes very hard to avoid crushing your neighbours
scotland england hre byz hungary denmark milan venice. currently finishing up a scilian campaign they are so far the easiest
