One would presume by the generals/governers doing well(winning battles, and placing them in places where their traits best suit) and collecting and swaping the revelent retinue characters, to further the chances of the best hopes for success in their respective area's(grooming).

I keep looking at Rome for a campaign, although I am hesitant, because I am not keen on the look of the eary units(no offense to the relevent people).

The late legionaries(Imperial I think) look very nice IMO, but getting to them looks like a nigtmare(difficult) and so puts me off, still I might bite the bullet yet!

Has anyone ever achieved the Augustian reforms yet?
