Well the problem is all thosse Heroic Victories you win with captians that don't get you generals. I'd really like to get a general after such a victory and was wondering if there's any way to do that. I mean besides forcing the poor captian to fight more heroic victories.

I'm thinking there might be a console thing you could enter or something... ah well. I can't find it so if anyone knows and feels like telling that'd be great.

Odds are you probably have hit your "general cap" for the amount of provinces you currently own. The game ties how many generals you can have to how much land you own. Grab more land, and you're pretty much guaranteed the offer of a promotion after a good battle that you win.

Thank you! I'll give this a shot pretty soon.

Also, sally battles and siege battles don't give a successful man of the hour if you garrison the army in the town immediately afterwards (which is automatic)
