    Default Medical problem?

Im having a little problem. I cant remember stuff.

Not just where did I put something, or what's my password. But whole frikin conversations. I can barely remember what happened yesterday, only the important stuff. But other then that the details are a blank. Anything more then a week ago is stretch. My teacher said she had a discussion with me about something (I cant even remember what she was saying what we had a discussion about), but I had no idea what she was talking about. She thought I was joking. Then theres names, I cant remember names at all, Iv known people for years and never actually remembered their names. Though if I concentrate really really hard a name pops up. Short term memory loss could describe it, I forget some things which I read just 5 minutes ago.

So, im asking for answeres on why I cant remember stuff. Im 15 years old, dont take any drugs, in perfect physical condition, and have no bad medical history.

    Get some proper medical advice.

...and drink less. (I'm assuming that's what caused a similar situation with me, but then I never had it checked out, my memory is recovering though )

He's right of course. At 15, it's probably changing hormonal balance (this written by a guy who's raised 2 boys through teen years). Hair is sprouting where you had none before, and your mind keeps thinking about females, no matter how hard you try not to. Nothing else is quite as important (certainly not academic subjects), so nothing else gets noted and remembered.

It'll pass - or, rather, you'll get used to it and regain/re-learn how to concentrate and remember things.

However, even if what I wrote is true, you should check with a doc as soon as possible, to make sure there isn't some underlying problem. If you're too embarrassed to ask your folks for that: join a sports team; they usually require a physical exam to make sure you're fit for the sport, then mention your memory problem to the examiner.

Whatever you do: don't put it off, thinking it will go away. The peace of mind alone, of knowing you're OK will do you good.
Be well. Do good. Keep in touch.

First off, Kukri is prolly right: growing up, hormonal imbalances, your body needs a lot more minerals, vitamins, and pretty much everything - more than at probably any other period of your life.

You can try some (multi)vitamins; also, lecythin is supposed to help with memory quite a bit, and you can find lecythin pills.
I used to take some myself when I was younger. I can't remember if they helped, though.
