    Default Fable- Lost chapters

Fable is the 2nd best rpg in the world behind Oblivion

Fable is one of the most customisable rpgs in the pc world (and xbox too). It follows the story of a boy, who's family was killed by Bandits in a raid on Oakvale. After this, you are saved by the heroes gui;d, and trained by the Guildmaster. after this, you have to do several quests assigned by the people of the world. it rules literally

here is part from the back of the game box

For every choice there is a consequence.

Imagine a world where every choice and action determines what you become. where you evolve in real time based on every little thing you do. Fable is an RPG action adventure unlike any you've ever dreamed of.(edit- this was made two years before oblivion and 2 years after morrowind) And now more than ever- with extra quests, additional customizing and extended content- your destiny is yours to choose
I bought the lost chapters addition for 7 pound and i am thoroughly enjoying

post your opinions on the game

I liked it a lot. The story didn't get derailed by any sidequests so I finished it in about 10 hours. The boss battles were epic.

I cant wait till the second one comes out in a few months. There was a conference in which Fable 2 producers said you can control towns, have kids, and the kids will age to look like you and your wife. I just hope the slwo time spell is still in it. It was fun beating a timed minigame in 2 seconds.

Never played this but I've read a lot of player feedback about it.

The impression I got was that it did not live up to the pre-release hype by a longshot.

I see the game praised for how doing good or evil literally changes your appearance.

But that is usually where the buck stops when I see praise for the game.

Maybe the posters in this thread can explain what's good about this game aside from the aforementioned appearance changes?

    It was good game IMO.
Nice graphics, Cool armor and the good & evil thing worked well.
Unfortunately the game was too short IMO.
    Wouldn't mind it being longer.

I liked it because it didn't let you get bored. Something interesting was always happening. The exact opposite of morrowind imo.

That is a very good point and very true.
    It didn't get boring.
Maybe a reason why people bash it so much ??

It was quite funny too. Could have used Oblivion's environment though...

tell me is Fable better than Oblivion?

my friend keeps saying there are many, many towns (sounds like more than Oblivion)
he also says Fable is better even though he never played it.

also how is the action and is it like Jade Empire.
