Thread: EB on RTW Gold

    Default EB on RTW Gold

Is there any thing I should know about it? I tried to install "EB 0.81a full" in my copied Rome-Total war folder (In my "D" partition, not the original "C" installation) and it did absolutely nothing.

The files were extracted, the installation window pooped-up, but the installation was far shorter than usual and when I looked in the folder it was still vanilla.

    I d/l 0.81 full from the EB ftp, that's 365.3 megs.

    Did I miss something?

    hehe "pooped"

If you moved your RTW folder, then the only thing different you need to do is change the location to send EB. It should probably end with "...\Rome - Total War".

If the installer only ran shortly, there is probably a problem, mine ran for like half an hour (full 081a)(365MB).

If you installed everything correctly to the "Rome - Total War" folder, then make sure to run EB using the newly created desktop icon. The old icon and CD autorun will only give you vanilla.

The installer did run for 5''. I remember the installation process is much longer so I'm now d/l EB0.81a full again. And it did not create an Icon...

I just never had such issue with previous builds and never got a bad d/l from EBftp.

    I will try again...

Damn the auto-correct options! I meant popped!
    Sorry...
