Go to your 'User CP' in the top left hand corner of the forums. Then click 'Edit Avatar'. As for question number 2, I'm not sure. I do know that any (playable)faction you destroy becomes available in the campaign screen.

You know, I could win "most talked about member award" 2007 (if that award exists). Anyhow let's get down to business!
When you finish a short or a long campaign you receive the ability to play as eight more factions. These great factions are Egypt, The Seleucid Empire, Carthage, Parthia, Gauls, Germania, Brittania and The Greek Cities. You can, however, make them all playable, excluding the rebels and the senate, with a little bit of good old classical modding. If you want to know how to do that, don't hasten to ask me!

i no im annoying but u know how on top of wat u are are(im a juenoir member still) it can say somtin above it how do that, sencond i might continu my AAR later tonight about 10 or 12 o clock depends
