Yes there is, but it isn't easy. You will need Photoshop with the nVidia DDS plugin, or something else capable of editing DDS files. As far as I remember, you may also need Vercengetorix's Xpak program to unpack the UI files. I have been through this process myself and will gladly help you when I'm less drunk.
