I have another question, though: is there a sort of typical standardized way how they innovate video cards? For instance, with ATI it's always been something like the 7000 series, then 8000, etc., then X, etc.
Obviously my X1600 choice was a bad one compared to my X800 regarding speed, though I can play newer games. So basically the 800 and higher in an ATI series are among the best, ALWAYS? Just making sure, so whenever I see an ATI with the X-something-whatever number I roughly know what it is
