Has anyone tried the Beta version of this? I really liked the books and movies and was wondering if it might be worth it.

I have signed up for the beta, but no joy as yet.

Although a fan of LOTR, not sure how much I will like this the only other MMORPG I've played is Eve.

Will wait and see, and update this if I get into a beta.

I joined the beta about a month ago and its not a bad game but really isnt my cup of tea - think of it as WoW in Lotr unioverse with a better crafting system and you have it pretty much.

From what i saw the quests are very well written and the game is inherintly soloable (i went from lvl 1 to lvl 30 and only grouped once) and it is generally a very good game but ive never been into that kind of MMO and so i wont be buying in.

I am intressted in LOTR and hearing that an MMORPG was being made i thought great so i put my name down for the beta. No Luck. I read on, and being cheap, i saw it cost like WoW so i am not going to bother getting it...

i am a fan of LOTR and i am as well not sure who much i will like it.
mainly i want to see how they destroyed it :| any way PM if you can
just want to download it and see how it looks like.
