Speech has dissappeared

No idea if this is EB, RTW or my computer, but I thought I'd run it by you guys before I reinstall.

The faction campaign music, campaign map sounds, prebattle speech and battle map sounds (speech and fx) have all stopped playing on my installation. They were fine last time I played (yesterday), the in battle and prebattle menu music still play, as does the main theme.

Has anyone come across something like this before?

Hi and welcome Maeran,
Perhaps the problem could be the sound settings? To fix sound problems you can go into options on the main menu, then into sound settings and then you can turn up all the sound bars right up to wherever you want them to be to be able to hear the great EB music. I hadn't changed anything, at least intentionally- so I hadn't thought of looking in there.

When I did the sound was muted. *shrug* One of those things.

Now everything works fine. Thanks for pointing me in the right direction.
