Ok i got a question. Say i am the Gauls and i take over a Roman city with a Scriptorium or better. Will my Generals learn Ancil's/traits if they stay there from that building? Or do they only work with that faction.

Sadly, although other non-barbarian factions can get such traits from these great buildings, the barbarian culture's trait and ancillary list is strictly limited and, unfortunately, they get little or no benefit from great places of learning. Also these strict restrictions cause the poor old Barbarians to lose out on some of the great influence traits and on their management traits, which is a pity. However, never fear, it can, with a little bit of light work with text files, be modded out of the game.
