    Default Visiting Vancouver, BC

So next week I'm planning to go up to Canada and maybe spend the night up there, enjoying the nightlife and various attractions of Vancouver and perhaps Victoria.

I was wondering if anyone had any recommendations on good/fun places to visit on a trip to either city. The crowd I'm going with is college people, so any museum of natural history is right out.

    Thanks,
    CR

I was in Victoria for a business trip and it is a very quaint little city. While there I went on a (killer) whale watching tour that was quite fascinating - well worth the time/money if you have it. I also did High Tea at the Empress(?) Hotel. The hotel was very nice. High Tea itself wasn't all that special but at least now I can say I did it. There were a few other things like a butterfly garden (I think) that I didn't have time to do. All in all I'm glad I went there.

Thanks for the suggestions, Gregoshi, but I think I ought to be a bit more specific on my plans. The group of college age people I'm going with are looking less for cultural experience than some fun times and nightlife.

FYI Around here we call killer whales orcas.

Oh, okay CR. Then avoid Victoria - unless you want to tell them that High Tea is "high" (use finger quotes) tea.
