Just a quick question, can one rename cities in EB? I know it can be done in BI.

In the EB preferences folder and file, at the very bottom there is "EDIT_SETTLEMENT_NAMES:FALSE". Turn that to "EDIT_SETTLEMENT_NAMES:TRUE" and it should work. But iirc changing city names will mess with the script, which is bad, and I wouldn't advise it.
I shouldn't have to live in a world where all the good points are horrible ones.

Is he hurt? Everybody asks that. Nobody ever says, 'What a mess! I hope the doctor is not emotionally harmed by having to deal with it.'

It can be done, but don't. The script needs the names to be the same for them to work properly. Changing names will screw up government damage/AI placement, reforms, population replacement for the AI, et cetera. It is quite unfortunate, I'd like to rename cities their appropriate Latin equivelant when I conquer them.

EDIT: Ha! Three answers at once.

Just don't do it. You'll severely mess up a lot of the game.
