Are son in-laws (i.e. characters that marry into the family) able to use the FatherTrait condition?
EDIT: what happens if you're testing the first father (i.e. top man in the family tree) for FatherTrait?

Yup. But unfortunately, not under the OfferedForMarriage/Adoption/LesserGeneralOfferedForAdoption events.
