actually this is my first time working in Photoshop ever
I compeletly got rid of all the purple in the Byzantium army, though they still look purplish from the distance
its not how I want it yet
for some reason some of the colours change when i convert to textures... I don't have 3dMax, my computer sucks
anyways heres too screen shots
if you have any feedback please dont hesitate, and yes i think im going to get rid of the stupid blue caps

ok my third attempt so to say (my second was to add my friends head to some of the Russian units)
took me forever with all the mishaps I had
just wanted to add some colour to the imperial knights...

failed at that
though i think my shields aren't half bad

'shake of the head' Looks good for a first attempt. I'll post mine when I get em done.....next year probably

Looks quite nice, definitely for a first attempt.
Try toning down the colors a bit (a bit less contrast maybe) to make it look more realistic

Without wanting to discourage any Skinning efforts here.

Would just like to say that the Colour Purple, is one of the 5 most common colors used in Heraldry Historically to make Coats of arms.

According to Heraldric Symbolism this is what it symbolises:

Purpure (Purple) Justice, Sovereignty, Regal(Royalty)

I personally found it appropriate fro CA to use that color for Byzantines.

orginally I was screwing around with the Spanish Knights, but switched my idea to the Danes... still not done on the top, but I like what I did to the bottom... the pic doesn't give it justice though
